Leslie Nevarez is a general and cosmetic dentist serving the community of Tampa Bay with her practice location in Riverview, FL. Originally from Lake Worth, FL, Dr. Nevarez attended the University of Florida, where she received her dental degree in 2013 and proceeded to make Tampa Bay home. She is a member of the Tampa Bay Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Dr. Nevarez is married to a physician, Ricardo, and has three wonderful children (Max, Leo and Maia) and two beloved dogs (Link and Zelda). Dr. Nevarez strives for excellence, honesty, kindness and transparency with her patients while dedicating the time needed for masterful dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Nevarez finds solace through the art of quilting, reading and tending to her orchid garden, as well as adventure through traveling, watching sunsets on the beach, building LEGOs with her kids and hiking through our national parks. Family holds a special place in Dr. Nevarez’s heart, and she values every moment spent with her loved ones. She has participated in many volunteer activities, including volunteering for medical and dental outreach trips in Florida and Latin America. Dr. Nevarez believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health.
She welcomes patients and families of all ages from babies to seniors.

Amy is the dynamic office administrator at Guava Dental, known for her exceptional organization skills and a knack for creativity. With a sharp sense of humor and a steady supply of caffeine, she keeps the office atmosphere lively. Whether she’s coordinating schedules or sharing a laugh, Amy’s positive energy shines through in everything she does. Outside of work, Amy cherishes time with her family and her dog, Perseus. In her free time, you will often find her outdoors, hanging at the beach, hiking or kayaking to enjoy nature and unwind.
Amanda is a kindhearted dental hygienist who completed her degree in Greenville, SC at Greenville Technical College in 2012. She returned home to the Riverview area where she has practiced in a general dentistry ever since. She takes pride in treating her patients like family and being their biggest advocate for oral health.
She is married with three very active children, three dogs and tons of chickens. She enjoys spending time with her family and being active outdoors.
Brittnee is a dedicated dental hygienist known for her kind demeanor and gentle approach to patient care. Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago, she made the move to sunny Riverview, Florida, where she now brings her expertise and warm smile to Guava Dental. Brittnee takes pride in providing thorough, compassionate care, ensuring her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Jody is a registered dental hygienist with over 7 years of experience. Passionate about demonstrating that a trip to the dentist can be both relaxing and enjoyable, Jody is dedicated to creating a positive experience for patients. Jody and her husband are proud fur parents to a miniature schnauzer named "Peppah." In her spare time, Jody enjoys gardening, traveling with her husband, and studying the Bible. Jody looks forward to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles while building lasting relationships with them and their families here at Guava Dental.
Emily, originally from a small farm town in Illinois, found a new home in Florida during the pandemic with her husband, Cameron. Together, they are proud fur-parents to two dogs and a cat, creating a lively household filled with love and laughter.
